What is a Chaplaincy Pastoral Committee?
•The Pastoral Committee would serve in an advisory capacity for the Ministry, Chaplains, and bridge Church community-
The Pastoral Committee would serve in an advisory capacity for the Ministry, Chaplains, and bridge Church community- •The Pastoral committee should be comprised of 5 plus Pastors-
The Pastoral committee should be comprised of 5 plus Pastors-•The goal of this committee is to give support to MOFM and facilitate healthy communication between the Pastors, Chaplains, and Church community, and to explore the leadership qualities needed by chaplains, while assisting chaplains for moving into more leadership and servantry roles-

The Pastoral Committee might oversee such things as faith management, issues and denominational relations and act as a resource to the ministry and church. This committee could provide advice and support during the process. The nature of this committee can vary between denominations and individual churches, but the Pastoral committee understands that they have a substantial responsibility toward supporting the well-being of the Chaplains and understanding the church-

The Pastoral committees would take an active role in assisting with the growth, training, and hospitality of Chaplains and church as Christians and members of the body of Christ-• The Pastoral Committee is not structured for the purpose of swaying, or interfering between the Chaplain and their home church and Pastor, but only adhering to the guidelines set forth.
• The training up and discipleship of Chaplains to become even more encouraged and eager in serving each ones church and becoming a greater asset to their church family, and Pastors.
1 Peter 5:2-4 Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them, not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that will never fade away.
Chaplain Responsibility
• Every Chaplain should be under a Pastor and based within a Church setting.
• Support your Pastor/church
• Help/support providing Ministerial assistance when called upon
• Bridging gaps through servantry
• Continue to grow through your Chaplain calling & duties
Hebrews 10:25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
