MOFM BOD: Is a voluntary Board of Directors, without compensation.
MOFM Administration: The role of the Board of Directors is defined by its set of Bylaws.
A Board of Directors has statutory responsibility. A Board of Directors is primarily tasked with protecting the interest's organization.
A nonprofit corporation is required to have a board of directors that serves as the ultimate governing body of the corporation.
A board of directors is a formal organization that is guided by its bylaws.
The Board of Directors are legally required to perform his or her responsibilities, and tasks subject to the fiduciary duties, loyalty, and obedience to the nonprofit corporation.
Status: Current & on-going Governing Board 2001.
Fiduciary Duties: Current & On-going.
Quarterly/bi-Annual; and Annual Financial Reports shall be available to the BOD.
Available Bi-Annual/Annual Financial Reports may be shared with the Advisory Board.
Chaplaincy Advisory Board: Is a voluntary committee of adviser members, without compensation.
Advisory Board: An AB may look very similar to the board of directors in some respect but does not carry the responsibilities of the BOD.
The main difference with these two boards comes down to fiduciary responsibilities and the liability associated with those responsibilities.
The Advisory Board is not the legal governing body of the organization and does not carry the same legal responsibilities and fiduciary duties as the board of directors.
Advisory boards do not require D&O insurance as there is no fiduciary responsibility or liability. Members of the advisory board cannot be found liable for mistakes that they make while advising the company.

Chaplaincy Acct/-Fundraising Financials: Quarterly and Annual Financial Reports shall be available to the BOD & acct dept.
